Might need to get bike back on the road quicker than my usual garage can sort new tyre's. Plus as it's unrideable anyhow it may be easier to get a mobile guy to sort at my house! So if it comes to that, has anyone used either of these guys? Or can recommend anyone who covers Chesterfield area? Don't want no cowboys f#cking my wheels up! Cheers http://www.motorcycle-tyres-midlands.co.uk/ https://www.gpmoto.co.uk/
Sounds like a good idea. I haven't used either so I'm no real help, but on reading the GPMoto website, the guy knows his stuff and has been around bikes for a long time. I'd say he'd have too much to lose by stuffing up a customer, and seriously, these services rely on good referrals.
On his way Lozzy but think he may have the wrong tyres ( just thought i would add that before nigelrb corrects the post)
Remember @Lozzy to leave one of the dog tags on the body, or should that be leave one dog tag on the dry empty husk afterwards
Oh my!! Stuff the Blade!...... I'll happily swap over to whatever bike that tyre he's holding so magnificently fits
And why would I correct the post? Any member who wants to post selfies for members' assistance won't get criticism from me!
Sorry don't know your mechanical ability ..but Can You or a friend not remove the wheels and take them to have tyres fitted .It's cheaper having tyres fitted to loose wheels? Where abouts are you?
Cheers for suggesting it but I usually drop the bikes at my regular local place for fitting anyhow, so I'm used to paying the higher option. Can't be bothered with the faff lol. Much easier to sit with my feet up and a cuppa whilst I let a bloke do his blokey thing
Im happy to come round and do my blokey thing whilst you have a cuppa and watch but not sure how that will sort your tyres.
