So me and Swmbo are off to north Wales today for a week. Off to test out our new inflatable tent. Bought last year and not used yet. Alas to much crap to take on a bike so we're in a car.
But we are going the back roads so it should still be a nice drive.
Roll on Kiss me quick hats and bad tasting candifloss

Have a great time. If I see you floating down the Avon, I'll know there's been floods up there and that your tent is truly 'inflatable'!

Is that pic current? Certainly heck of a lot greener than we have in West Midlands.

My area resembles the Australian outback - without the dingoes of course, and minus the errant matinee jacket whisked up by arid winds!

Where I live it's All most brown grass. Here it seems to be coping quite well.

Whats the inflatable tent like, are they really easy to put up?

Went to a beer festival last weekend and borrowed an old tent for camping and it took ages to put up.

Yes and no. You do still have to peg out the footprint and the base.. you do still have to peg out all the guy ropes as you would with any tent.. but the difference is you don't have to sit there setting up the poles and feeding them through the channels ..we had a similar size tent with fiberglass poles and that was a pain..but this is a lot easier. Yes you have to pump the air in. But it's only about 30 pumps per tube.and there rock solid. It's the first time we've used it so we haven't put it down yet. I'll let you know how it packs away .
