So i fitted my new pipewerx exhaust yeaterday, I had originally orderd a carbon fibre one but jeff from pipewerx rang me up and said they had made a titanium one by accident and would i be ok with ceramic black instead , more expensive but free for me as it was their fault , after already getting free £9.50 deivery & free mug , i said if they throw in a £19.99 db killer for free i’d happily take the black one ! Jeff agreed that that was fine as it saved them making another pipe ! Well im so happy with approx saving of £70 and a better exhaust , it suits the bike really well , sounds great , although i put the db killer in & im yet to ride with it out , the thing is loud but not aggressivley loud , below are some photo’s of the exhaust , it cost me £305 total and is money well spent , oh and i also took carbon front mudguard and replaced with a white sunbeam one
Nice looking pipe! You must be the first person to change a carbon guard in favour of an original!! Could you fit or make a couple of (extra) rubber washers onto the hanging bracket where the pipe connects?
That's not bad at all for the money considering my Racefit was nearly twice the price!!! Jesus you park the bike on the drive.....I literally would not be able to sleep at night!! I jumped out of bed last night as I thought I heard something near my shed.....thank go for this weather, Its even worse when the windows are shut!!!
Lol great price! Rubber washers calmed the vibrations! I have a taurus bullring anchor cemented 0.5 meters under my drive , almax series 3 chain and squire lock, front abus disk lock and a luma chain on front wheel, under a oxford cover , if someone nick’s it them fair play to them .. my rottweiler used to be my ears for me until he passed away in january , deterring theives is all i can do and i believe i have the best chain and anchor available, although i cant grt it thru the swingarm , i would hear them trying to take wheels off and be out there with my shotty in about 10 seconds lol ..
No mate, but thanks anyway, paid 7 quid for a pint in London a couple of weeks back so a tenner on next day delivery was not too shabby IMO
