Hey Paul, I don't want to discourage a Blade sale, but I think even if you find a dealer who will trade it, you could be short-changed on value.

Depending on your location, I have had good p/x and customer service from https://www.bladegrouphonda.co.uk/ . You'll see they've got 3 outlets.

Are you on the Ducati forum? Would be a good place to start. Just don't tell them you're looking at a Honda!!

Surprised your local dealer won't take the Pani in px - you would think they would have trade contacts who would buy it, even if they don't want it in their showroom.

Try Craigs Honda, I think they are cheapest at the moment for Blade SP https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NEW-Honda-CBR-1000-RR-SP-Fireblade-New-18-Plate-0-Finance/253655251799 Craigs deal in all sorts of makes and models used, and they do collection, delivery etc.

Dealer sent me a pic today of bike arriving .....just waiting for exhaust to arrive then it's delivery time.....thanks for the heads up on the V4 that's why I didn't go back to Ducati to much drama....what issues are they having??
Also there finance is high which I fedback to a dealer and he told me I was living in the 90's.....typical Audi type attitude....so they can stick it....

    ....[/QUOTE]

Issues are little things like catching fire , fluid leaks, overheating ... nothing to worry about  . I asked the dealer about the high %apr on finance and was told they dont want to give the bikes away .... Being competitive might help sell a few more bikes tho.

I think you'd be right there. I know members on here have been influenced by Honda's 0% offer.

Realistically when you can get an SP with tail tidy, tank pad, 3yrs servicing, akra can and 0% finance for £17k I don't think many folk on here would opt for the £24k V4s. And nor should they, the SP is a gorgeous road bike, so lovely to look at and already no longer looking over priced.

Have to say though, if I wanted to own a very special bike and "money no object" id have the Ducati every day of the week. Think that bike will still be talked about in decades to come.

Congrats. I don't mind the blue, but that tops it by far! Just seems much cleaner lines than the Blade's 'chunky' appearance.
