I can vouch for Raphael's mates. He referred me to Nik, an NS guru who willingly helped me over the phone!

If you ever get the chance again? Ask to Spk with a guy called spider, he’s dan Linfoots chief mechanic and will tell you anything you want to know about those bikes, very good mate of mine and been in the bsb paddocks for years, I remember going up to Sanyo Honda Britain when he worked there back in the day.[/QUOTE]

Him & Dan were sitting at lunch going over data on a laptop, hence I didn't want to disturb them.

Blade back & working fine again.
Even took the two eldest kids (12 & 13) out for a wee pillion ride on Saturday, which they loved.
Though they have outgrown all their gear now, so had to use the wife's gloves, boots and helmet.

So what was the sidestand/clutch problem? (Just in case any of us suffer it;))

It was the wee valve inside the exhaust that had jammed.
Wee motor had to be replaced.

The sidestand / clutch starting issue, whatever it was, has never occurred again.
