Emailed my dealer to enquire about buying Honda's Fuel Stabiliser. They don't stock it, so I had to buy a box. Well, I didn't HAVE to; I'm just pedantic about OEM products. Worked out well though; they didn't put mark-up on it so it cost me 6.50 per bottle. (12 in box).
Saturday 28/7. Not doing anything yet. Watching the cloud direction and reviewing my 14 weather apps!! Not shaping up well in West Midlands. Tomorrow's not looking much better either.
First weekend in ages where the bike will be staying in the garage. May clean the bugs off it from the past couple of weeks, but not going to trust the roads after the downpours of recent days.
Had heavy rain early morning 5am then at 9am a window of opportunity taken got a good run in now up to 570 miles ready for 1st service on Thursday....got caught in a quick shower so now means giving it its first wash later today....so a couple hrs to spend in the garage happy days....Sunday looks like a complete washout...
Fitted carbon front mudguard formerly adorning @Dave dunlop bike... This off... This on... Bought a rivet gun to affix the brake line holders (stud and socket) Rivets sorted.. Grommets swapped over from old mudguard.... Time to fit it and admire...I may remove the Racefit sticker but for now it stays
Nice, Hitch. You might consider an HRC decal in lieu of the Racefit. Have you considered the rear? I put a carbon rear (courtesy of @dansp1 ) on my 2011, but left the front as OEM blue. I don't want to over 'carbonise' mine, but am on the lookout for a carbon chainguard.
Ah, right. You're into small hugs then! Just noticed the white rim tape. Makes a change from the usual red on black wheels. Might steal that one for my RR4.
View attachment 49609 After being inspired by the cleanliness of @hitch bike (above) I decided to do some serious detailing work today. Sorry it's not a Blade, but that will come next week
Yes, I understand the logic, however, that would make an extra 5 metres of tyre wear. I am very conscious of mileage!
Had the 1st service today at 603 miles.......on the sp....great service from Cresent Honda Southampton ...now for 9k revs and above......although running it in it is fast enough,....weather is cracking make the most of it ...
