I think Marquez is in a different league! I know he's aggressive but so is Zarco and at times Iannone but I think JT who I'm not really a fan of hit it on the head when he said that the circus surrounding Marquez are being fuel by rivals who simply can't compete making a hullabaloo about safety and stiffer penalties in a hope of curtailing Marquez enthusiastic overtakes! But all he'll do is get to the front and sod off! But I prefer the scraps he has with rivals than him away out front! Zarco hit Rossi at CoTA and nothing was said now if that had been Marquez I think a black flag would have been waved! He is now know as the bad boy of Motogp! I'm lovin it
Agreed, A lot of people have short memories, remember Rossi when he was young ? just ask Sete Gibernau and Max Biaggi they both had Rossi's paint and rubber on them. but that's all forgotten. Not that Marc seems to give a shit. like he said his style is his style and he's not changing it
US MotoGP. Such a dull circuit. Nothing else to say, but there must be dnotgervtrsvk where racers can overtake and ‘race’?
At yesterday's race at Jerez - Lorenzo's fault without a doubt. Pedrosa was on the racing line, nice and tidy, and Lorenzo came across from going wide and barges into him and sends everyone flying. No matter what they all say in public, and to the press, the Ducati team must be thinking that Lorenzo is a spanner. If I was the Ducati boss I would have sacked him there and then ! Now Ducati will have this division in the ranks, and a team member who is not a team player in the slightest - who is more likely to cause trouble for your championship contender than he is likely to help him. And at the same time Lorenzo is so far back in the Championship that he is not even a contender himself, but he still tries to prevent Dovi from scoring points !
The pit lane walk was interesting with the talk with the head of Ducati, not a single mention of Lorenzo.
Dovi said it was Lorenzo and Predrosa's fault but i agree Mattie Dani was on the racing line and the other two had left a big gap I hope Dovi changed his mind after seeing the replays as Dani did nothing wrong, he went for a big gap that any rider would have gone for. Just really glad Dani did not get hurt again, I notice he didn't put his right hand out, but landed on his right elbow
It's unbelievable how Marquez has so much left in the locker at the end of such close racing and just rides of into the distance! Brilliant race.
Great round of qualifying today. Won't give anything away, but a certain rider ensured that commentators swallow their wayward comments.
New starts times for tomorrow's racing.. http://www.motogp.com/en/news/2018/08/25/schedule-changes-motogp-race-11-30-local-time/268697
Just read it on Motorsports.com Lozzy. It works for me as I'm getting there at about 7.30am so if the main event happens first then happy days! I fully I tend staying to the bitter end but if it's as bad as they say it's going to be I'm off home!! They might even call it off and talking about racing on Monday!!
Looking like heavy rain by the time 2 & 3 are scheduled for! Typical given the driest summer for yrs!
I'll be up at 0500, plenty of time to get my workout done and watch the race before I go riding for the day.
News on Tito is not great, multiple fractures on his right leg. Comment on TV this morning seemed to confirm he was hit by another fast sliding bike when he was already on the ground. https://mobile.twitter.com/i/web/status/1033461899055296512
