Slight rustle in engine. Need advise.

    Greetings! I am the owner of Blade 2008. There is a problem. When driving in the first gear and above, if you drive in the range of 4,500-5,200 rpm, you hear a slight rustle in the engine. What can be wrong ?
    Many people say that it's the timing belt tensioner or the chain itself. This is true? The dynamics of the motorcycle rides the same as before. The valve has never been regulated. The native run is 16,000 miles. Help!

    My RR7 makes a strange noise from the air box at that rev range like a resonance sort of thing , but I think its characteristic of the model, heard the same noise on a RR7 on YouTube at that rev range , don't worry about it , just rev it harder ;)

    I think there was a similar post about this sound although it was labelled "engine knocking".

    I think you are on the right track with chain & tensioner. try the 1000RR forum, someone had the problem and found out what it was
