Was pleased to see this bike during FP1 today. Seems it's been around since 2nd August, but I hadn't seen it before, even though I watch every practice and race! In some ways, it takes on the looks of the French Endurance Team. This pic hardly does it justice:
Bradl was on it at Czech Republic round which was 4 rounds ago, 3 if you discount Silverstone which we should. He binned it on the first lap too! How did you miss that Nigel? Beautiful bike and paint scheme and is pretty much identical to the endurance bike scheme. Here's a better pic from my Insta!
Too late now @PauloHRC . You'd best wait for whatever comes in 2019 or keep focusing on the 954 or 929. I have seen 'yours' on eBay (Hunts) before; Bradl's looks much more 'lively' with the full fairing and race numbers etc. However, compared to the 'standard' SP/SP2 paint job, the Hunts' version is far superior in style, especially with the paint treatment around the tank and knee-grip area.
Too late in the season I mean. 2019s will be announced soon, maybe even a snapshot at November's NEC. I wouldn't buy a 2018 bike now unless it was a really good deal. Once again though, each to their own.
Nah......regardless of what stage we are at in the season, this has to be one of thee most timeless paint jobs in recent times. It'll always be stunning. Plus.....I'd never pay 20 grand for a bike, I'd be too scared to ride it......hence I'll get one in a year!
It's okay. An enterprising Chinese manufacturer might be monitoring our posts and have 'HRC Endurance' fairings in the mould at this minute!!
They've got one at my local Honda dealer in Manchester where I take my bike. The guy that owns the place has it on display in a perspex box......it's his bike the lucky bastard!
For a Honda devotee, it's worth selling your house for. Living on the streets a few years later might cause some regret though.
This picture was meant to accompany my last message but I was some what inebriated last night It was taken earlier on this year by myself, the owner acquired it way back in December 2015 though
