Because the mid term adjustments are extortionate, it means you can only fit accessories once a year or risk having your insurance voided should you find the need to make a claim. £40 to change your bike is excessive but they would charge £40 if you changed your job or fitted a tail tidy or even a sticker. Bonkers. And a blatant rip off. Some years ago banks were told to stop charging their excessive fees to customers using an unauthorised overdraft facility. They were told that the fee had to reflect the cost to administer the facility and not be just a made up figure.

When you go to the bike show this year and the dolly birds are giving out the “free” plastic bags to carry all your recycling swag. Just remember you’ve paid for that plastic bag a thousand times over. In fact why not try asking them about the admin fee being inexplicably high. But, prepare for a long silence.
