The CBR Fireblade badge and decal should be on the orange part of the fairing above the 'SOL'.:)

And, for the original, there shouldn't be logos/decals on the belly pan other than a red 'Honda'.

What do we infer from all of this?

That it's a bit iffy and walk away?

My 11 had the decals on the belly pan Nige. However you're right with the badge being in the wrong place for the 2011

It’s a 2011 Repsol but with 2009 Repsol side fairings.

You win a prize.........it was mine, i dropped it on a trackday at rockingham in 2014 and found some pristine 2009 panels from a member on here and fitted a new clutch cover from the states.

I sold it to a dealer and at the time in 2014 it had a titanium akrapovic. I bought it with 200 miles on the clock for not much more than its on there for !

The clutch casing and side panel is hangimng on my kitchen wall ha

its a cracking bike as they all are, except the panels are wrong, only a knowing eye can really tell. the panels came from repsolfanatic who has the heavily upgraded 2009, they were pristine, he was putting 2012 panels on his bike so i had them off him.

i bought the clutch casing from the US, brand new in Honda packaging, it was a bargain lol.

i had always wondered what had happened to it

That's interesting. Just did an 'image search' (not because I didn't believe you) for my own interest and it appears some did and some didn't. Now I wonder whether it might be a 'regional' thing. I won't be phoning Honda UK on this one though!!

    Here's an American version:

i think the decals on the belly pan were part of the performance pack offer at the time. mine had the decals, akra pipe, extra screen and repsol cover.

Mine didn't have the performance pack but it had the decals. I've noticed the hrc stickers sometimes appear on different places on the same bikes too...

on the 2009 model the decals came in a kit which you could either use or not, so my bike was delivered to me without the decals fitted
so was it the same for the 2011 models ?

I think @Lozzy might be a bit emotional today, seeing her 'old' bike on screen. Certainly looks nice.

I also get emotional when I see a Repsol as some litte scum bag stole mine 3 years ago, it has not turned up.
still it was only worth £6k and was not insured
