Well unless the promised Indian Summer turns up I think today will be my last early morning Saturday ride for a while. Dull, overcast, chilly and the threat of rain do not make for a great ride. Still can't complain too much after the Summer we have had, and I managed to do nearly twice as many miles since March/April as I did in the previous 2 years combined.

Still now is time to think about what I am going to do with the bike before next year AKA what to do instead or riding.

    Definite list:
    • Heated grips. Have them ready and just waiting the connector to plug them in to the factory fitted connector.
    • Ignition controlled 12v supply on handlebars. All ready to go just waiting for season end to take bike apart to route the cables.
    • Another 12v supply to the front of the bike, just can decide whether to do USB or Givi Tank Bag connector. May just put a waterproof connector so I can swap between them.
    • Tank grips. Remove TechSpecs from tank. Probably fit the Stomp Grips in their place but as not needed may just leave it plain.
    Probable List:
    • Replace indicators with LED ones. Oxford Nanos are top of the list unless something else grabs my eye at the NEC.
    • Brake light modulator. Have this from the blade and I like the effect it has on people behind who like getting close.
    • Oil and filter change. Not needed for service etc., but I like to do one after the winter.
    • Crash protectors
    • LED headlight. Standard is bright enough but drivers seem to notice LED more. If not then an Osram Nightbreaker will go in.
    Wish List*:
    • New exhaust and ECU remap.
    • Suspension setup as front end is bit too stiff now I am a slimmer version of me.
    • New levers. Brake is fine but clutch isn't adjustable, are manufacturers weird where they save costs.

*Having the bathroom redone so will probably remain a wish list unless someone here wins the lottery and wants to adopt me :D

Mate, if I told you how many miles I have done this year, you will say why bother having a Motorbike. I guess I just like having one.

0540 and I am just about to ride out to work (it's 70 degrees here). I'm a RiderCoach on the weekends so as long as the ground hasn't froze over, I ride. I am taking the Repsol. The Chevy can sit until I really need it.

That being said, this winter will see:
    Quick-shift
    PC-V /exhaust & ECU remap
    BST CF wheels (hopefully)

And the usual fiddling I do in the "off" season (fluid flush and fill, deep detailing, etc)

New bike this year so was always going to do more miles, but am enjoying it more again. Personally just having a bike in the garage makes me smile so any, or even no miles is enough to justify having a bike.

Think I will smother it in a act-50 and just ride it though the winter and do the few jobs like new forks/shock qat chain/sprockets when if the snow comes
