I'd get one if I were you Paul. I've got the r&g one, they're not expensive & will save you a lot of money if your radiator gets damaged. It's one of the cheaper mods I always put on.
It was either on here or a Fireblade Facebook page I read about someone picking up their brand new blade and holing the radiator in the first 17miles of ownership. Wasn’t covered by warranty obviously and he/she was left with a ridiculous bill, although the dealership did supply at cost and didn’t charge for labour if I remember correctly. It was still around £500 I believe, maybe more, plus the inconvenience etc. I know what I’d rather do.
That's stiff. You'd be bloody spewin' wouldn't you. (For me, the rad wouldn't be my worry ; it'd be cleaning all the coolant and crap from the undercarriage and from the inner fairings .)
What an excellent way to highlight a black bike - take the shot in the snow! Black is my second-favourite colour (shiny not matte, because there's too much wind resistance on matte finish) I am also a lover of black wheels, but in your case the gold wheels brings life to the bike. The 'deleted' pillion pegs also give a clean look.

Hey hang on!! @Si. is a 'he'? Talk about deceiving us naive members. So how many of us have given Si 'likes' based on the avatar? You will note there is a highly disproportionate amount of likes in favour of Si's posts and I reckon that is because some members might have been expecting to make a move on said member. So now I am off to Instagram to do a bit of peeking around for a 'girl next door' type, you know, sort of a Kim Kardashian, a Love Island girl or maybe even a Middleton gal look-a-like. Then I will be assured of having everyone like even my rubbish posts! Yay!!
