Hey Want to match close, but doesn't need to be exact, the red tank on my 2000 929RR. What's the Honda paint code and/or is there another that's close, like may be Civic red? TIA
I have found RS Bike Paints particularly good with service and quality product: http://www.rsbikepaint.com/ I know you've said you don't want to be exact, but with an 18-year-old bike, you should be prepared for some discolouration from original. If you are sending out to paint shop, have them computer scan (spectrophotometer) the present colour for a close to perfect match.
RS paint are good but a bike pricey for a full bike. It's only my track bike so i'm not being mussy. Thank is OK condition and doesn't meet the fairing anywhere so a little out would be OK.
