So is it the 11 you've bought? It's just you say it's the 16 in your last post....are you on the pop celebrating already lol
I'll help you out. Baz posted the link to the 2011 to show that's what he was first talking about, re the 3-spoke wheels and new dash. However, he has let that slide and has bought a 2016 which he can't pick up until next week! So who's on the pop?
it was the link to the 11 plate one that was causing the confusion as to was it or wasn`t it a 12 plate spec
Erm, no. I didn't say the bike in question had 3-spoke wheels, I was referring to 2011s in general with the oblique reference to the 'new' dash that the OP thought that was on the bike. Now I'm wishing Bazz had just gone and bought a bleedin' Yamaha!!
I think I should of brought a Yamaha lozzy I think it is a black one it has black everything apart from pegs the only thing I can`t get my head round is NO stand warning light and what I really wanted in a new bike that my firestorm did not have a fuel gauge . all that fancy dash and no fuel gauge. just means its back to locking the mileage
It's got a 0.7 gallon countdown that comes on the screen though. It flashes from 0.0 as it counts upwards. Usually get 25 miles out of it at a push once it clicks in. Sometimes it's in litres depending how you've set your dash. It's in your little booklet you'll get with the bike.
Agreed. Look at all of Honda's fancy acronyms: H.I.S.S.; TRAC; PFI; etc, and then weigh in all the mechanical and electronic advancements, many displayed on our 'innovative TFT colour dashes' and then a dirty old 1985 Honda C 90 pulls up next to us with none of that stuff, but it DOES have a fuel gauge. I'll be plucked!
Yes and a bloke was in there who had took it for a test ride the week before and he had just took a new one for a ride and he preferred the 16 plate
