don`t be dirty

cable luber has anyone used one and are they any good
and what lube do you use( can`t believe I asked that)

 

Yep I use one similar to the Oxford tool, works a treat for clutch and choke cables. Use a proper cable lube or something with PTFE which coats the cable. WD-40 is no good for this job.
Basically keep spraying until you see it coming out the other end of the cable!

For the sake of actual technical advise, a "dual screw" is the same type I use. As mentioned, use a PTFE lubricant to avoid actually making the cables worse and simply pump it in until you see it dribble out the other end of the cable.

Now for the mmmhmmm...dual screw, lube, pump, dribble...I'm basically 10 between the ears so it's difficult not to comment.
