Sounds like you had the same idea as me, original mint body work is bubble wrapped up in the box the chinese ones came in. Already done a track day with new fairings and they'e held up well. Quality and fit was near perfect. Think I paid around £32 customs charge but my fairings were £250. Think it goes off the value of the cargo! I was surprised at how reasonable it was also and was expecting nearer the £100 Mark!
Yep, I think the customs is about right. My fairings were £360 in total from auctmart. I'm looking forwards to fitting them soon!
I must be about 3 weeks away from receiving my arrival notification. But at least I have an idea of charges. Thanks guys. Was also planning the use the same box and store in the loft trick. In fact I was just looking in Bunnings this morning at loft flooring. Bought a mask and gloves so I can wade through friggin' fluffy insulation.

Mine also included all the black plastic infill panels, side under seat pods, inside fairings panels, air intake ducts etc.....oh and a double bubble!

Whatever you're getting, I'm sure it'll make you the 'king of bling'. Your '99' is bang on so I guess you've got some goodies being specially made. I look forward to the 'debut'. Maybe you could set up and cheese and cracker night - with a couples of pies for a special member!!

Just studied your link again and notice your delivery is 1 to 5 days. That's brilliant. As you've read, us UK guys have a 4 week wait plus whatever time Customs take. I am truly hoping mine come in before the Christmas glut. You might be wise (with respect) to get a kit of the black press pins in case any of your originals break during installation. I have ordered a whole screw kit - mainly for appearance sake, but it's always good to have spares.
I ordered a set of push pins prior to my bodywork arriving and it proved a wise move. Broke a couple and also used two either side of the bellypan to hold it to the lower fairing sides better, you might remember I posted a pic of this @nigelrb?
