    Hi all,
got a genuine Honda rear seat cowl for my blade (£150) and I'm a bit disappointed :( with the fitting, have followed the instructions but seems a poor fit and looks a bit amaturish having to put spacers in etc. has also caused some paint to rub off on the rear lip and bodywork.

Anyone had similar problems and been able to sort it out..

    Thanks

I've read other stories of similar problems, and the chinese import copies are meant to be worse again.
Mines rubbed aswell but i'm not sure if mines a repo or not!

Hi dave, just looked at the seat cowl on your bike looks a lot better fit than mine ,did you have to use any spacers ?

Yep, I've got the same problem with fitment on my 07.

Genuine seat cowl, never looked like it fitted properly. I used some washers to get as good as fit as I could & to keep it from rubbing.

Looked at the bike the other day & the seat cowl looks all pissed again!!

I give up. Very poor quality for a genuine item.
