Swing Arm Bobbins/Spinners

Anyone using Oxford's rotating bobbins in lieu of the traditional fixed ones? Need to know if they provide an easier lift. cheers.

I don’t, but I can’t see any real advantage in them rotating other than they shouldn’t get marked by your stand as easily as fixed ones

 

I'm thinking the rotation would/should make the lift a bit easier. Accept your point though about the marking. I have gaffer tape on the paddock stand hooks to prevent that.

Only one negative I can think of is that you'll be forever cleaning them as normally they only get dirty underneath.

 

He needs that in his life. Adding a bit of cleaning to his already stacked regimen is good for Sir Nigel of the West Midlands.
