Guess I'm too late for this, but after what I saw at NEC today, I think there's more and better specials with Sportsbikeshop than I found at NEC!!
I got one from performance parts in the end . Cheaper than I expected . So lightweight feels like a empty box
Deals seem to be less and less at the NEC. I'm going on Tuesday ..Don't really need anything but it's a bikey day out.
See this is a couple of years old @RRoss and was curious as to how you’d got on with this battery and charger combo?
I got this one for mine a few months ago: https://www.sportsbikeshop.co.uk/motorcycle_parts/content_prod/248789 - It uses half the space of the stock one (you can literally stack 2 of those in there) - Higher CCA than stock (140 vs stock 130) - Many, MANY, times lighter than stock. As for the charger I use one from BC, will check the model later (BC Smart 2000 maybe??). Can be used both for lithium or for gel/acid batteries.
Found a replacement link for it, granted a different site, but same model http://www.biker-emporium.co.uk/aliant-lifepo4-battery-12v-8ah-equivalent-ylp09x
I see this one but it’s not a viable option by the time you’ve shipped and paid the tax https://www.skyrichbattery.com/product_info.php?products_id=571
Thanks @BlackDevil this one is the one then https://skyrichbatteries.co.uk/project/hjtz7s-fp-swi/ £78 delivered

Thanks for the above @Kevin1 . Reminded me I need ANOTHER optimser - not lithium though. Just ordered this: https://www.sportsbikeshop.co.uk/motorcycle_parts/content_prod/405401 I don't think it's Chinese
Bargain that Nigel. But why confine yourself to a non lithium charger. I have a 900 but it's no good to me now I have a SP. but I have not bought an X3 because the bike is new and the need for an optimiser is not due for a few years yet.
Most Oxford Products’ kit is manufactured in Asia, including China, Taiwan, Indonesia and Pakistan. Last October (2017), the company opened a new factory in Pakistan which manufactures garments exclusively for Oxford Products.
Hiya Kevin. I hope your heart's alright because it might take a turn when you read this. Confine myself? Ha! No way, for this purchase will the 6th optimiser I'm running, 5 of them 'non-lithium' . You see, I did shell out for the lithium for the SP. I'm sure you use your SP more than I do, so mine is hooked up on a day-to-day basis. However, I am surprised at your suggesting your SP won't need an optimiser for a few years. Whilst I am no authority on this, I think regular 'maintenance' of a battery from new, will prolong its life far better than waiting the 'few years' until you notice low voltage at start-up. (Perhaps others with more knowledge would offer comment?) Aside from my 2011, all other bikes are permanently hooked up, despite their receiving a good run every month. Sure it might be overkill - and a drain on the national power grid - but I feel safe with the knowledge that I will achieve maximum battery life. Damn! Another 'throw away' line that backfired. Thanks for that, BD. I'd never even looked at the packaging of the optimisers, but right this minute I nearly broke my ankle running downstairs to check boxes (more OCD - who else has a cupboard full of Optimiser boxes?). So, erm, yes, both the 888 and 900 are made in the land of the Fortune Cookie. I will add that I've had a reasonable run with Oxford Products, save for an all-weather cover that turned brittle and perished after 12 months of sun and rain.
