Hi guys, after speaking to my mate at work, we are going ahead with another run of the chain guards as I've had some more interest lately to get these made. Hopefully he'll join up tonight if he gets time. Anyway I'll start a list for the first 10 guards as things are still hecktic in work at the moment.

Just type in rivnut into searchbar, then you'll see megawatts thread on how it's done. Though I cant help wondering if a tapped hole with studlock would suffice?

You'd be better off with the riv nut for more thread as the ally us only about 2mm thick. A M6 screw would only get 2 turns of thread at that. You could chance it but it wouldn't be me. Even with a riv nut I've put some locktite on mine so that it doesn't come of with the vibrations.
Would it be rude to ask for just the top part in silver and engraved the same as your own one colin??? Or engraved with the forum 1000rr.co.uk ??
