I decided to take advantage of the recent offer by Moto-Bins for a H&B carrier for the new SP. Still not really a bargain at £120 but I couldn’t make one myself for that price so...whilst it was on offer, it’s better than paying full price. Easy to assemble. I’ve not fitted the sealing strip yet because it looks a bit permanent. I was interested to compare the weight as I thought it was significantly heavier and bigger that the old H&B carrier. So I got the old post office scales outvand sure enough it’s 0.5 kg heavier than the 2012 H&B Fireblade carrier. Which is a bit ironic since it really needs to be light for the SP as it is burdened with a very low weight threshold of only 3kg. I’ve no doubt if I get chance to use it next year I’ll be trebling that weight restriction. Here’s a few pics. The old carrier is the one with the Kriega straps still on.
