MCN have extensively tested the 2011 ZX10R and placed it behind the BMW S1000RR and the CBR1000RR. In fact they pretty much slate the bike as a disappointment and only 'for the racers' if you want to get much out of it. Praise goes to the Blade - 4 years old and finishing an overall 2nd. Interesting on what all the pre order guys think now!?
Well, I'm not surrrrrrrrrrprised!!!!! "For the racers"?????? And (now cosh me with a big Hammer if I'm outta line here) when was the last time a ZX10 won a World or National Superbike championship????? It really was a bike I was very curious to hear all about, not the track launch, corporate handout bull! Real roads, real people!!!! hahahahahaha. I stickin with my RR5 for forseeable!! Unless someone offers me a new repsol for insane money!! lol
Bet Kawasaki are gutted. Be interesting to see what the other mags think of it. Gotta love the Honda!
i wonder what everyone expected though, 200bhp and a stance almost the same as a zxr400. It was always going to be very track orientated, that will suit some people though. The blade is an awesome bike that still has good road manners and typical honda finish. hard to beat.
You have to laugh. It's particularly interesting as MCN normally come across as rabid fan boy types, who seem to jump at the chance of telling us how great every single new model is (normally just because it's new).
Don't Kawasaki understand that these bikes ARE ridden on the road most of the time, and although the magazines love to shout about what great track tools they are, most owners never see a bloody track, they either get polished to death in a garage somewhere or ridden on every 3rd sunny sunday in July/August.... insane. Thank god for Honda's real world attitude to '' race '' bikes.
