i'm looking as tidying my bike up in the new year and want a nice set of wheels but not sure how they will stand up to the bigger miles i cover on our not so good roads so looking for some advice as to whether to bother or not and if so what are the brands to look at?

Also my bike has a power commander(old tech i know) so thought about adding an auto tune to it but not sure if i need to? or is it one or the other?
any advice on either would be appreciated

    cheers

Don’t know anything about any of that but @PauloHRC could be interested in your old wheels

I have a PCV and the autotune on my 2014. It may not give you the absolute peak power but it has smoothed everything out massively across the whole rpm range, even compared to the custom map I had done on a Dyno.

    Hey bud,

Like you said PCs are old tech now, ecu flashing seems to be the way forward. but I'd had a Autotune on mine for years and cant recommend it more highly. I just downloaded a generic map and set the AFR as generally follows

rich low rev and idle ( >13.2
    leanish during cruise(<13.2)
13.2 at high throttle and revs

maybe not max power but super smooth delivery.

Also have a POD 300 to monitor.

    Hey mate,
Will look into that as the bike has a pc on it so seems to make sense just to add the auto tune.
    Hope you get sorted soon
