Cmc used to stock Dainese and you could try on to see but they've stopped doing it now. Closest store to us is the Manchester D store for trying kit on. Or...you could ride to Sportsbikeshop itself in the better weather, it's at Boston.
Another option is measure yourself on the D chart and order what you think you are...they're v good at returns if it doesn't fit then sending the next one up or down.
Or....try an Alpinestars on at Cmc to get a rough idea of what you might be...all suits differ but at least it'll give you an idea :)

Nip in and try them on at least it'll give you an idea of roughly what size you'll be.

Might just go and try them on in the dainese store. Sounds like fun, although the last one piece i tried on was amusing to say the least

I have bought Dainese gear from the D store in Manchester before, have found the prices to be competitive, you could consider the Dainese made to measure suit, will cost you, but a good quality suit will last a long time
Go for black saves you getting new gear when you eventually get ride of the HRC blade

Laguna is a top notch suit and has a great following amongst gay bikers.

Excuse my ignorance/naivety, but what makes the Laguna of more appeal to gay riders? To me, it doesn't seem to have any outstanding features that set it apart from the others. This is just of general interest as I am not a one-piecer.

I have no idea myself, but the t-age and laguna seca come up again and again. Personally, I just like the look of the laguna seca, but they make others that look very similar. I have seen others that i really like the look of too, like a spidi one.

some people say it shouldnt matter what you look like on the bike because its not about fashion, but I think everyone pics their gear to look good, dont they?

The dainese leather is so comfy too, everything I've bought of theirs has felt broken in straight away.

TOTALLY agree with that, blink. I say that it's not about fashion; it's about 'compatibility'. People can get by with black as a neutral colour, but I go WAY beyond that. You will note from my signature that I have a few bikes. I have jackets and helmets to match each theme: Repsol, Castrol (specially made), MV and aprilia. Think OCD:rolleyes:.

and there we have it, I dont think id go for custom probably, but i want to have stuff that goes with the bike, but not necessarily match. Thats how i picked my helmet anyway
