So I've naturally started looking at small modifications for my new bike, like you do!

What Tail tidy's have other owners been buying?? I've not seen a great deal online so any recommendations would be great.

    Thanks

If/When I get around to it, it'll probably be a Yoshi TT for me. £115

There arr a few on flea bay for 39.99 UK made. Seem decent enough for the money and look just like the R&G ones. I think theres even an option for LED lights and the tail tidy as a package. Not sure about quality but if its made here it cant be bad?

@Ravsta and @nigelrb I actually bought one of these JTech ones off ebay last night. I was eagerly waiting responses but I couldn't hold on any longer as I wanted it here by weekend so I've got stuff to fit to the new bike!!

£38.99 and it will accept standard indicators which are actually pretty sleek on the newer blades. For a quid more you can actually buy this tail tdy with mini LED indicators but I don't want to start splicing wires and fitting resistors!

Will let you know what the quality is like when it arrives!

Cheers for the input lads :)

Nice one. I want to do mine over the winter as well and i quite like the standard indicators too so 39 quid seems a good price. Looking fwd to your update and a few pics of the new TT :)

The bonus is that you won't cop a ribbing from the boys because it's not Chinese.

I wanted to accentuate 'not' but @Lozzy won't let me use capitals!:(

It'll feel like xmas all over again. Grab a few cold ones, some mince pies and get your spanner time in the garage. Have you ordered a smaller plate or are you going to use the stock plate?

I am looking forward to having a fettle haha!

Yeah ordered a 7x5 plate, then looking at the photo of the tail tidy on the eBay listing it looks like it's 8 inches wide:rolleyes:

Will look daft with tail tidy sticking out the sides so will have to see what it's like. Always go with a 7x5 thougho_O

Paul, you'll hardly notice a half inch beyond the plate. Even with major OCD it won't be a prob. I always use 8 x 6s so don't have that problem.:)

Remember to put black backing on the plate for a proper finished look. I get my pates from https://www.a1showplates.com/ and they actually come on black-backed plastic. (Too late for you now, I know, but keep it in mind). ;)

Arrived today and I'm seriously impressed, really solid construction and well finished. Connectors, heat shrink, LED number plate light all included.

Should keep me busy for a couple of hours tomorrow!:)
