    Hi everybody,
I am installing race fairing and wondering is it better to put racing air ducts or keep original one. Does anybody have some experience with this, I believe that there are some sensors in oem ducts and I am not sure will it cause some problems if I simply remove them.
    Please share some experience.

If installing race fairings you want race airducts. Smoother flow. You need to get rid of the flapper rubbish. Plenty guides on here
    It’s called ‘the flapper mod’

Agree. I should have done that when I put on my Chinese fairings. I took off the air ducts and thought, 'what the frig' is all this crap?' with the hoses and diaphragm thing. I still might do it, and this thread has just incentivised me.

Fair enough, Jez. Thinking logically, it should - unless we drop 300 quid for a remap.

Would be interested to hear other views from those who have done the mod:).

Mines in bits at the moment, ideal time to remove if, someone says it goes better with no fuel mod
