Hi mate, I'm not sure you can retro fit electronics packages to a Blade but I could be wrong. There is a guy in the sale section selling a PCV with Ignition so you can have pit limiter and launch control if thats any good?
What electronics are you referring to? Quick shifter, fuel module, piggy back unit etc. What mods have you done to your bike?
I have full Akrapovic and BMC racing filter. I want ecu programing, something like that. I want launch control, pit limiter, maybe traction control and increase in power.
I have already ascertained from Honda UK that 2019 Blade ECUs are not 'backward compatible' with 2017 - 18. There would be even less likelihood of any compatibility with earlier models. It seems there would be a major cost with what you want to achieve, and as @Demmel has suggested, you really need to focus on race electronics to achieve your goal. I also suspect this might lead to either a new wiring loom or a drastic re-wiring thereof. The question follows: 'What track experience do you have?' Might it not be better to exploit the maximum capabilities of your bike as is, and then when you're only a couple of seconds off the fast group, look at either full upgrade or another bike?
Hi, I was part of world endurance championship and for some years part oh croatian championship. I still need to come back in shape and learn new bike but I know what I need. I have found some racing solutions, but would also like to hear some other expiriences. Every opinion counts.
I would look into good tyres, pads and braided lines before even considering more power. Power is one thing but no point going fast if you can't stop in time. Once you feel you need you need a little bit more, my recommendations would be playing with the suspension, then get a piggy back/tune and perhaps a quick shifter.
