I've tried many. Thought WD 40 Lube was good - flies off everywhere. Using PowerMaxed at the moment. Very good, but have had some fling, but I'm not sure if I might have applied too much: https://www.powermaxed.com/sprays-lubricants/chain-lubricant-wax My fall back is always Wurth, (which was recommended to me on this forum and features in MCN Chain Lube review: https://www.motorcyclenews.com/product-reviews/product-picks/top-6-bike-chain-lube/
Wurth High Performance Dry Chain Lube. Absolutely no fling. Great product. If you're winter commuting on the bike though I'd use something a bit more robust just for those months. Not a fan of wax I think it collects crap sticking to your chain.
Ah, yeah. It was you who recommended Wurth to me. I hadn't considered the gaining muck effect of the wax on chains. Valid point! Gather no muck on my legs though.
Yeah it was something I hadn't thought about but a few years ago I read an article on the grit and muck it attracts that's then whizzing round on your chain!
I wondered about their wax...was a bit loathe to buy it in case it was messy but might try it if it's not attracting muck too much or flinging Their lubes great but I'm constantly re applying it in winter
Certainly one of the cheaper options. Not as silly as it sounds; it's worked in industry for hundreds of years albeit with lower rotation speeds.
Würth dry chain lube for me, always put it on after a ride and never had any fling what so ever. Best stuff I've found
many years ago a friend of mine worked at David Brown Gears, in Huddersfield. He used to use some treacley stuff from work on his chain and his chain used to last forever.
Sdoc 100 white is the best I've come across. https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https://www.ebay.co.uk/ulk/itm/113115119155
