Having only had the bike two weeks it is costing me a fortune. does it need anything, No but ebay and boredom is a dangerous thing. Brand New TT legends Body Kit, didnt need it but now in my loft Leathers, New bike new leathers new bike new boots new bike new helmet Brakes were excellent, still bought braided lines, and P clips Had a small double bubble, bought a zero Gravity screen radiator guard to be honest from what i read was a must paddock stand, had one but wanted another Now looking for a quick shift that i also dont really need. i seem to have an addiction. Pete
i spent about 2 grand after i bought mine lol laguna seca leathers, shoei x-spirit iii helmet i didnt need boots though had some white supertech R boots, but also have some smx tech 6 and tech 10 i have room for more boots
I know the feeling. Thought I had most stuff.... ooooh no. Complete new set of fairings, sat nav, ventura full kit, new lid, schuberth comms collar, new gloves, I think the only thing I haven't bought is new leathers. That will be for summer though, textiles for warmth at the moment Oh yeah, new abba stand, full toolbox (damn they are expensive) new racking for the garage, a new screen.. ermmmm, probably plenty of other stuff I have forgotten about!
i do need a paddock stand i cant decide what to do about sat nav, whether to just attach my phone so i can see it or if i want something i can hear too
If you are thinking about phone - I can fully recommend one of these - https://www.quadlockcase.co.uk/collections/shop-moto They held mine secure and easy to read on a 5 hour ride from Lincoln to Edinburgh, well into triple digits (Obviously on private roads, the A1 counts as private, right?) And if going Sat-Nav route - Get a Telferizer from http://www.telferizer.com/ - They go into your steering stem and are very very secure.
thanks for the recommendation. I dont think i want to buy a separate sat nav, the one on the phone should be fine. i might want headphones in my helmet, not in my ears though
For sat nav, I just use google maps and put a set of earphones in and just listen to the directions. I use an old Samsung galaxy s5 solely for this purpose, that way my actual phone battery doesn't get wasted.
Mine is clamped on the left after the switchgear. Will get a photo in the morning, but they also do a RAM mount which you coukd mount in a Telferizer.
