Not a problem. I'm everyone's Guinea Pig: Chinese Fairings and now infills. I'm sleeping on it tonight - have something big going down on the aprilia forum at the moment.:D:D

Sat on it (in my garage) hands on the bars, nearly broke out into ‘ermmmmm ermmmmmmm’ motorbike noises like back in the day as a ten year old on my Raleigh Grifter.

Hooked up my Optimate Lithium battery charger and fitted the permanent charging lead to the battery. Threaded it up through into the under seat storage compartment.

I hate it when it dangles down! o_O

Oh and fired the SP up for the first time:eek:
Well......it is in the kitchen and you know who was out!!;)

Not wanting to start yet ANOTHER insurance thread, started my 2019 insurance quotation chore today. MV renewal due shortly currently with MCE which I'm busting to get out of. Current leader is Motorcycle Direct, with the glitch that they charge a £25.00 'new business arrangement fee'.

Frig me. Do I complain about everything? Perhaps so, but as I said to the consultant, I feel disappointed to be charged for giving my business to a company!! This particular quote also included another bike with the result that the new arrangement fee would be £50.00. I am awaiting a call back to confirm whether or not they will remove the ridiculous fee.

As we all know, what they take off they'll soon put on somewhere else!:(

    Interestingly, BeMoto is £100.00 dearer.

Shame about Bemoto Nigel because they are a pleasure to deal with.

Yeah, I know. Many on here speak highly of the company and its staff. I keep thinking I have plenty of leverage with my 'collection' but when it comes to pricing from the underwriters, well, it's just another deal. The MV did only 800 miles in its recent MoT year and is kept inside with video surveillance. Not too much risk there.:( Still, I haven't excluded them yet because their 'fringe benefits' exceed most of other brokers.

Cheers, hitch. I only ever tried once with Nash and that was, like yours, enough to see me off forever!!

    Exactly...:(

Nothing that any other policy covers.

I know, I only did it to see if they were as bad as I remember, and they are.
I went with Bemoto in the end for the blade only £416 fully comp...he told me that come June I can add the GSXR on for an additional £60 - no brainer really.

You mention the underwriters and that is something I like to be made fully aware of, Bemoto weren't the cheapest overall, but they were the cheapest with AXA as the underwriters (plus the cheapest option to add my other bike on when that policy runs out in June).

Granted, MCE usually comes through with the cheapest quotes. I have five with MCE and two with Bennetts, but the problem with MCE especially is the horrendous mid-term admin' fee for a simple annexure such as a number plate change. I have a low tolerance level:).
