Bought a minter today to replace my written off HRC Had a decent budget to get something a bit special but the family meat wagon died a few weeks ago too! Had to buy both a bike and a new family car on the same day!. Never the less, chuffed with both. SP gonna have to wait a little longer. Test drove a tonne of RRs but the Blade is the only one for me!!!!
or if you are referring to the blade.... 2010 ABS - eekk......but non-Jimmy Saville. Essential bling to be added from the previous blade Brembo RCS PCV Auto tune GB covers BMC filters ASVs Light techs s/s pistons in calipers
Black with gold wheels gotta love black bikes, I'm in middle of polishing my dad's old thundercat and the shine on black is awesome
Nice looking bike that @Slick Nowt wrong with French cars either, way better than they used to be! We currently have one in our household I swore I'd never buy one again after a Citroën AX GT I had years ago, little rocket ship but god it was a pile of shit. I remember I went camping in Anglesey about 20 years ago in it. The GF at the time closed the boot and the Plastic locking mechanism snapped.....spring loaded boot so was stuck wide open! In a rage I saw my arse, got in the drivers seat, slammed the door shut and put my hands and forehead on the steering wheel in an attempt to calm down......at which point the door fell off its hinges onto the damp grass. I'm sure yours will be fine though!
completely standard apart from bungs. Venture shield from new, absolute minter, credit to the last owner
And that is the reward of buying from those of us with the 'meticulous cleaning' chromosome!! Are you going to buy @Lozzy 's tail tidy. https://www.1000rr.co.uk/threads/for-sale-brand-new-r-g-tail-tidy.35289/
Took a bit of learning to get it right, I have a pod LCD display too so I can check whats going on whilst riding. Yoshi without PCV/AT was hunting at idle, hesitant and had a few flat spots. Once configured it was oh sooooo smooth.
Mine do all get used - just not frequently. Done nearly 5,000 miles on my 2011 since buying it in Nov 2017. That bike does the most miles, thereby preserving the others. SP2 is still stuck on 1300 because I haven't pulled it out from behind a couch since September. Correction - I think it's the one behind the couch - they're all covered!!. MV, just MoT'd did 800 over the past year.
717 miles for me between mot this year! only bike! broke my toe on my left foot first proper blast out, going to make up for it this year though
Gear changes are ss it's the stand dropping on my foot from a block of wood that did it all Bette now though just awaiting sun shine
