Any hints and tips of how to get the tank pad exactly in the middle? I went for a clear tank pad as I didn’t want to spoil the look of the tank. Hopefully it’ll look ok.

 

Measure the width of the tank pad and then measure half that distance from the white stripes and mark it with masking tape, top and bottom. You'll then have the perfect template for centre positioning.

 

I've got a large clear pad on mine tbh don't even see it if you're not looking for it

 

I'm tempted to get some Puig (long) levers too

 

If you do it like a video, it's very difficult to make a mistake

did think that as i was typing it its part of the paint protection film more protection than a tank pad so ive I've left it there

 

I think that that tank pad should've been mounted lower down. It should've been a clear pad too. Useful video, thanks.
