thats exactly what the bf just said do fairings come painted from honda, or do you have to get them and then paint them?
Was contemplating a ride but the roads are covered in salt and Im away all week so decided a clean was in order. Most have us have been there and its a shite job but ended up with the frt sprocket cover off and a clean of all the gunk around it and gave the chain a good clean as ive been using wd40 chain wax but god it makes a mess.. Another job done
First bit repaired - clutch switch had come unplugged found a fairing repairer in Nottingham, hoping it can be repaired, its not cracked i dont think, but a corner at the front has broken, not sure if they can glue repair them.
Probably can. There's a range of incredibly good epoxy bonding materials on the market now. I have used the Power Maxed Klear Bond for hugger repair and for rejoining a small fairing lug. Still holding together well. https://www.powermaxed.com/epoxy-adhesives
Please don't rile me so early in the morning! Among the many things I'm ill at ease with, poor or lack of response to correspondence shares the top of my list along with people who will not acknowledge the kind gesture of holding a door open for them. Sure, I'm 'old school', but there's some things that shouldn't be eroded through the generations. Some government departments, and I speak of DWP in particular, is horrendous when it comes to return correspondence. If a business chooses to ignore YOUR email, well, it'll be their loss. I'm sure you'll uncover a suitable business that is prepared to service your needs - so to speak.
Really nice that...….I like the carbon front mudguard too!! I have some white red bull decals for the bellypan and front mudguard if your going for the winter test look. Never got round to putting them on my matte blacks and the bikes been traded in now. PM me if interested
Ahh it was all from a forum member @vic_ster51 , it wasn't me who purchased originally. Thanks though!
It riles me too. I have spoken to them. Taking the bits in on friday. I hate asking twice, loads of contractors at work have lost out for lack of contact. Anyway, anyone here know anything about COMAH?
Ordered some el cheapo carbon infill panels for my tank after @F1CT1C10U5 posted a pic that MADE me want to have them https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Tank-Sid...e=STRK:MEBIDX:IT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649 And then, wheeled out my Aprilia RSV and took to our rare dry roads for a blast. Only those who have owned/ridden these one litre V-twins can truly appreciate what a magnificent machine they are, no matter the the make and model. Still prefer my fours, but this thing is such a refreshing change. Bigger change coming up on Saturday when I get my bargain aprilia RS50.
