My son works in a garage and has Halfords advanced tools And true to their word as soon as he breaks something they replace it with no quibble
It sure is, I got their 200 peice socket set at Christmas, still the same price now at 165. Money well spent!
I bought a 10 quid Halfords advanced 23mm ring spanner for my 2011 Front Axle nut. Got home and found the nut was actually 22mm. Couldn't be stuffed taking it back. Yet to find a friggin 23mm nut on any of my bikes. So now I just gotta keep buying bikes until I get one with a 23mm nut so I won't waste the spanner! That's what 'm talkin' about!!
Do you mean nigel or Halfords Nigel is a medium and Halfords is a high. My son uses the torx sockets in a cordless ratchet so they get a lot more stick than DIY but when they break he changes them and a ratchet slipped, but he uses it 6 days a week and some of the other use them in the garage as well. Better than snap on Because you have to wait 2weeks for a snap on man to turn up Halfords is open 7 days a week
Not too familiar with Halfords, wouldn't mind looking into it. A lot of my tools are Kincrome, SP Tools and TTi
I have the Halfords 3/8 socket set with the plastic handle ratchet, It is about 15 years old and still going strong, it has been used most days at work and home, It is far better than both my snap on ones. The main reason I use it on the bike is the plastic is less likely to damage anything
Just thought, If you know someone with a halfords trade card you can get some good discount on their tools, like 30%
Funny Just went on Halfords to see what one you might mean and there was 10 people looking. Coincidence or did everyone have the same idea
