Nup, I didn't get one either. But they did make too much of a deal over the 'summer lift outs'.

Oh right...wondered if I'd missed it but sounds like they didn't do it this year. I think a lot of paper/magazine groups are struggling these days.

Sadly, the world has moved beyond the printed word.

It's a shame, I like the feel of books & papers to read. My eyes never hurt when reading them but if I read too much stuff online or computer work I get blurry vision and sore eyes. God knows what kids vision is going to be like in later years.

Might work as a quarterly, but most of the problem in the publishing industry now is that production costs and publishers' profit leave very little for the smaller entrepreneurs/self-publishers.

Plus, he would be marketing to a very niche group. I would buy such a mag, but only off the shelf is content appealed to me. Most, I think, would be in the same boat. Even now, I'll only buy off the shelf for interesting content.

Quite true N is mostly Wh Smiths or Menzies that control distribution plus around 3k copies to be sold to be able to make a profit so a hard game now to be in...

Keep hold of those oldies. They're always a good resource should you chance upon a project/restoration bike.

And, now that we know of the Selmer50Mark library, we can PM you to flick through those 100 copies to pluck specific info for us. If you really want to help out the boys (and gal) you might be kind enough to post up a complete index for us!!:D;)

Just reading this a while ago in Practical Sportsbikes. Wasn’t even aware of it. I actually bought it as there was an Urban Tiger on the cover, sad aren’t I? :)

Been a Practical Sportsbikes subscriber for years, great mag for modern classics and a wealth of info for wannabe restorers, just hope they don't start filling it with all this modern sh*te. Its targeted firmly for old gits like me that want to relive their youth of the late 70s/80s.

And even some really old stuff for really old people like @nigelrb from the early 70s

    Rant over.

Friggin' asses. I man can't even age gracefully anymore.:( Just for that, I'm now too shy to post a pic of me on my SP2 with my 1948 canvas lap rug draped over my thighs.:p

Not sad at all. I dropped £8.00 to ebay for a June 2017 copy of Classic Motorcycle Mechanics because it had a NS400R on the cover!:) As anyone who has worked in hard core sales will know, appeal to the prospect's emotions and the deal's done!!

Quite uncanny @Lozzy. Perhaps I could have had a more illustrious career than eventuated. Here's my photo from Feb '83 British Passport: (BTW, I'm still a hunk;))
