Just asked for a quote on my wheels with that code A grand for the 2 wheels with a talon sprocket and you can bolt your OE discs on and stick them straight in the bike . That price is for gold wheels thou which is extra . Black or white is cheaper Bargain i reckon
soooooooo tempted by the dymags in white, but would be killed if I got them, how much do std wheels no discs sell for ?
mmmmm very tempting waiting for quote back but should be £1000 inc vat ish so £600 with my wheels sold ????? very very tempting
Yeah i'm waiting on a price back too, 12 months interest free credit would be ideal here!!! How quickly did they get back to you Dan? Does anyone know how much lighter the Ultra Pro UP7's are over a standard 1000rr wheel??
I rang the polished wheel company and they would refinish my standard wheels in white for £90 all in. I would be looking for quite a weight saving to justify the cost really, but I read somewhere that the 1000rr wheels are fairly light ish anyway!
Im the same as you tbh will get my std wheels white if there is not a significant weight reduction, I had magnesium dymags on the R1 and the differance is amazing but at the moment suspension is higher on my mod list and its a lot of cash, also thinking about it I would not sell the std wheels as I would want to sell the dymags seperately if I sold the bike in 2 years
If the weight saving was good and I could get a set for say £950 ish i'd sell my wheels i'm sure lightweight wheels would increase the value of a blade at least a few hundred quid so I wouldn't be losing a whole lot.
I've had a reply from my enquiry and here's their reply with the prices they came back to me with: Hi Andrew, Many thanks for your enquiry on our Dymags. Please find attached our PDF information on the product as well as our chart of typical wheel weights. As you will see from the PDF, we are doing a special deal on the alloy forged UltraPro 7's right now of £999.95 including vat! (no other promotions apply to this product). These are only available in 3.5" front & 6" rear. We are also running a promotion in this months Ride magazine of 20% discount on the rest of our wheel range which makes our: Carbon CA5’s £1800 a pair + vat. Street Race TT3’s £1440 a pair + vat. Classic CH3's £1400 a pair + vat. Superbike SB5’s £1440 a pair + vat. The wheels come complete with bearings, captive spacers, tyre valves, rear sprocket & cush drive (chain size & teeth number to your requirements). All that is required is to fit your tyres & discs & the wheels are ready to go in the bike. Lead times on orders will be 4-6 weeks. We require a deposit of £200 per wheel to get the order underway. Again, many thanks for your enquiry & should you require any further information, please don't hesitate to come back to me. Best regards,
