What a bike lush, now that’s how a bikes fueling should be, one finger braking m50 brembos just feels and all round good bike
Little review of the RS would be great if you could mate. I’m looking to get one in the new year, need to get a test ride first but any thoughts would be great. Especially coming from a blade previously.
Not really the man to give an in-depth review on it, it certainly can’t be compared to the fireblade my sp is a missile and the RS isn’t, I am sure on the twisty roads I would be as quick and you can definitely see more being upright. I am lucky to have both bikes in the garage but there totally different. A friend of mine is starting a race series next year using the 765 and he has been doing some testing and his lap times are very impressive and would take a very good rider on a fireblade to match those times. The Triumph is a very well built bike and very good quality but the SP beats it but at 20k it should, go and try one and see how it goes I am a Triumph lover having had street triples from 09 speed triples and have owned 3 Daytona 675r which are bloody good and just about right for road riding I do feel the 1000cc sports bikes have now gone down the road of let’s see how much bhp we can get. Gary
Thanks Gary, appreciate you taking the time to give your opinion. A test ride is defo needed, hopefully this weekend. Cheers.
I loved my 675R and chopped the 09 blade in for it. It was like riding a BMX with a powerful engine in my opinion. Can’t comment on the 765 but in the end I went back to a Daytona 675 as I was missing the sports riding position and I’d probably still own the Tona if I hadn’t just purchased a new MT10.......that’s like a Street Triple on steroids!
The black/gold Daytona 675 is one of my fave looking bikes. Just happen to have one on my ebay Watch List at the moment: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Triumph-Daytona-675-2011-Arrow-exhaust-system-quickshifter/232968304848 Still wondering about a belt across the Midlands to view!
Phenomenal bikes. That one is identical to mine but mine was 2012, in mint condition, had carbon extras, seat cowl, with Arrow remap BMC filter and Triumph anodised master cylinder pots with 3 owners 8000 miles and full history. http://www.jtsbridgend.co.uk/bikes/used/view/61057/2012-triumph-daytona-675-0-675
Ah right. Did see that, but it's miles away from me. (Says the guy who tried to send @dmc12 to Edinburgh to look at a RR7)
Awesome looking bike the gold is a lovely colour, I prefer the blue with gold wheels. I keep looking for the original 2006 in Graphite Grey that hasn't had a hard life with full history and lowish miles, I will find one, another one for the man cave but running out of room fast ha ha
well the bike is awesome so good I am taking it to Spain in January 3 days on track, have fitted race bellypan and rear tail, bit of crash protection, blipper and rear sets and mct suspension set up before xmas Decals printed and being fitted Friday.
Friggin' brilliant job! I'm listening to The Divynals 'I Touch Myself' in the background while drooling over your bike! Congrats.
had a few sessions on the smallboys trackbike hire 765rs awesome piece of kit, liked it so much im thinking of trading the blade in for one and track prepping it
I have only ridden it on the road for 400 miles and it was mega can’t wait for Spain 2.5 weeks and counting My mate at moto46 has all the plastics and full kit he can also supply a bike with full kit fitted.
The bike was bloody good on track, I was in Cartagena 2 years ago on my 13 Daytona 675R I went 4 seconds a lap quicker on the 765. Handles like it’s on rails, brakes are amazing and that’s with oem pads, the rapid evo qs/blipper is the awesome.
Helmet is super impressive. Do you mind posting or PMing who did it? I had searched for helmet painters but never wanted to fly blind in case I got a crap job.
