Just wondering has anyone fitted Stomp Grips to there bikes? If so are they worth it, as I have heard different reviews? I have never used/bought them before. Cheers
Good on the track, I get no benefit on the road. Oh and they'll protector the side of your tank from scratches
Good for hard braking, saves you sliding into your tank & crushing your tackle,(assuming your not going fishing). Takes the weight off your arms.
I did wonder about that. You can sort of see it in most of the pictures but wasn't quite sure. That would drive me mad I'm afraid.
Have it on my bike and really rate it. I'm lucky though, black tank with black stomp grip so you can't see the dirt.
Hi bud how much would you be looking for in regards to the stomp grip bud, im taking it that its shaped for the tank
I have them fitted and would recommend them. I’m not a track demand or regularly clean off my knee sliders but I have a back problem and they help with stability, (if you have a week back you will know what I mean?) and they help you get your weight off of your wrists when you feel the need. All that and I only got them to stop my tank cover getting marked?
Yes they do collect some crap but I've had mine on for track and road and soooo worth it. No sliding and great for handing n or braking hard on both road and track
I recognize your username, you wouldn't happen to be Mark from Liversedge? OP - Stomp Grips work well on track for sure. They do roughen up your leathers a bit.
I put stomp grips on our race bikes during last season and noticed a bit of a difference, so anything is good! We would sell quite a lot of sets of the Stomp Grips, to both road and race riders, and everyone seems to rate them.
Been using stomp grip for last 4 years on the road and would'nt be without it. Main benefit is it saves your wrists.
Thought it was you! I've met you a few times at your house, I'm mates with Arron (the lad who use to own a Bandit and now '98 R1 from Hudds)
i've got some clear ones for my bike, but have never asked dave to put them on, not sure if i even like the look of them. xx
I had stomp grips and they do what they're supposed to and in general a great product but i found them a bit too abrasive on my leathers and wasn't happy with that so they were removed and replaced with 'teckspec' pads, equal in performance, less abrasive same price. Speedycom Performance Ltd...
Exactly what I did on my Gixer. The stompgrips put a hole in one side of my leathers, had to have them patched. Techspec overall were the best option for me, haven't got round to putting any on the Blade yet, but I will. JD
