Are there any guides to removing the fairings, i want to fit my new kit and have had a look on You tube (as you do) the rear end and nose look to be problematic, i am worried about splitting the rear fairing pulling it apart around the rear seat lock.

I used this one with great results.

Need a bit of stop or pause in places, and a bit of a pain with the @Spygoat accent:D.

The tail section in particular is tight. I left my new tail section in front of radiator for a while to enhance flex - just as others have left theirs in the sun. Also, as a bit of lubricant, spray a dose of Mr Sheen inside the new section and over the rear subframe to assist.:)

I recently took off my rear tail, just focus on side and don't be afraid to flex the tail fairing. It'll eventually come off :p

Just go for it and take your time.....following a you tube video is definitely the way forward but can be done without if you take your time.

In order of difficulty I'd say the nose fairing is the most. Then the fairings......the tail section is easy!

    Good luck ;)

You'd be surprised what fellow forum members sound like! o_O

For example, No one would know that @nigelrb sounds like Aussie Steve Irwin of Crocodile tormenting fame and saying phrases like 'look at this little blighter' and 'you're alright mate' whilst strangling one!

@Spygoat ...............try riding down the road holding a selfie stick and shouting 'let's go forra rrrriiiiiddddee'

I think you'd have a few of us fooled :D;)
