Probably time to come clean on the origin of my username... This is the other drain of my time and money. Had it 10 years, done some big trips in it - south of France in summer, the Alps in winter. Been quite an entertaining ownership experience.

And if you're really interested - I made a film on youtube about it too...

Love the old 'Woodies' @D16PJM . Many moons ago in my teens, I had a blue convertible. As the saying goes: Wish I had it now!:(

True class @dmc12 . Will catch up on the rest of the video later.

Frig me @Spygoat . I bet there's some stories behind that collection!! :)

Watch the YouTube vid - I debunk all the myths around the car there :)

Engine’s actually the PRV V6 (Peugeot/Renault/Volvo - here in 2.8l Bosch K-jet form) that went into everything from the Talbot Tagora to the Renault GTA to the Volvo 760!

It was green and the vrm was DNU 585G...
It got us all over the country & through every northern winter, then me dad gave it my brother when he was 17 and had just passed his test...it only lasted 2 seconds's as he managed to wreck it trying to do a hand brake turn with about 7 of his mates in it lol :D

This thread has highlighted that I really don't have any other interests other than bikes and bike sport!o_O it's mostly all down to time and age though.:(

Having three kids and a busy work and home life, I really don't get much time to persue anything else, even if I wanted too. And thats just about too get a whole lot busier!! I have however had a very active life in sport since being younger and still have a keen interest in the following:-
    Football
    Tennis
    Fishing
    Golf
    Skateboarding (Yes...seriously)
    Snowboarding

I still have all the gear should I want to have a dabble though ha ha

I've had some success at competition level, in particular tennis......but the one thing I excelled in the most was Skateboarding!!:) I wish I could still do it now but my body won't let me.....I've tried. I was quite heavily involved in the Manchester skate scene back in the 90's and when I visit the town centre i love looking at the old skate spots I used to skate all them years ago. Seriously one of my favourite times in my life :)

I would love to still be active in all of my interests, but for me now, it's all about the bike's ;)

Sat here thinking the same thing, apart from bikes and family time I don't really do much! Moto gp and UFC are about the highlight of my week:confused: like hiking with the family and finding ruins, but other than that it's all food and parks:rolleyes: maybe in a few years when they're grown up and cleared off I might add a few hobbies in there. Daughter wants to do her bike licence though so doubt I'll venture far from bikes:D

Do you have mixed feelings about that?

I would be very concerned if one of my daughters announced that she wanted to get a bike licence. Why I say 'mixed feelings' is because I would be pleased that she could also find enjoyment in bikes, but also concerned as a father for her safety and welfare. Strange, but I wouldn't share as deep a concern if one of my sons made the same announcement. Some might call that sexist; but I think most fathers would feel the same. On the other side, my mother had more reservations about me getting a licence than did my father.

Perhaps @Lozzy , you might share your parents' sentiments on this?
