On the news yesterday evening there was an item that showed a group of Indian chaps who were scamming the Life in the UK test facility (a pass in the test means you can apply for permanent residency in the UK or British passport). They were using a bluetooth earpiece used under the testee's headphones during the test (computer based). Now, I thought I'd have a go at some of the example tests...I thought I fly through them but I taken 5 tests and failed 4 Have at it... https://lifeintheuktests.co.uk/life-in-the-uk-test/
Done one...passed. Completely ridiculous! How on earth knowing the correct answers to those questions can make anyone eligible to become a citizen is beyond me. You could ask half the British kids those questions and they wouldn't pass. It's just a cheap lazy government method to appease folks. Surely the most important thing is that applicants are going to be good law abiding people and productive citizens. I'm off now to try and get my blood pressure down...thanks for that Hitch
I can see the governments ploy. Totally pointless questions, but sufficiently hard enough to make non UK applicants fail I passed 20/24, but who the feck is St David anyway
