Any computer gurus out there? Can't get any sound from youtube, skyplayer or any of the anytime channel players. Sound ok on most other things apart from these. Tried all the online help, installing new flash player, checking settings etc etc but no luck. Help
First thing I'd check is your browser. If you're using Firefox, try Chrome. If you're using Chrome try Firefox. My guess is that might fix the problem if the sound is working elsewhere on your PC.
Ok, first off I would update Internet Explorer to the latest version: Internet Explorer - Web Browser for Windows (UK) If that fails (think it will work) download the latest Adobe flashplayer for your browser: Adobe - Web Players
Tried to download explorer 9 but it said I already had a more recent version. Did the adobe download as well up still the same
Hmmm - without being infront of it its hard to say. As above i'd try downloading another browser - say Chrome: Google Chrome - Get a fast new browser. For PC, Mac and Linux Its free and made by Google and will take about 2 mins to install

Google Chrome - Get a fast new browser. For PC, Mac and Linux Go to that address and download and run Chrome. Set is as your default browser when it offers. Henceforth use that to surf the web. It might take a bit of adjusting to at first but trust me it's a much much better browser. My guess is that when you're using Chrome you'll no longer have problems with your audio.
No problems. Now that you have Chrome, install this little add-on called AdBlock Plus. It's brilliant. Install it and you never get adverts on youtube anymore. https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/cfhdojbkjhnklbpkdaibdccddilifddb
mine did this last week with internet explorer 9, I did a system restore to an earlier date and all was good again,
