12c and 11c, sunny and dry according to the five day forecast on my IPhone. Plus we have had rain which has cleared the salt off the roads. May have to tax my bike and go out.
Thanks for the tip off. My area looks okay most of the week too. Still trying to get some action into my new tyres.
Dress down at work on Friday so defo Blade time. Couple of days recce now to find roads not violated with farm muck! Great to get out though, ✊ Autumn riding seems along time ago now
Heh I get at least 2 a week, the commute is a bitch Get up early, work a bit later and suddenly I have a 2 hour lunch break
I was hoping to get out over the weekend but council decided to salt the roads on Sunday night, roads surface still a nice white colour and with no rain forecast to wash it away may have to be a little more patient.
I would of done 12c on Costa del south but at work however have taken cover off tyre pressures done off its paddock stand ready for launch at the wkend and off next week so could get quite a few spins in looking for award to getting the new D air suit on.....
Lovely and sunny here but roads still damp with salt. So I got home yesterday and polished the father-in-laws royal Enfield And today weeded the garden Hopefully see what the weekend brings
2019 cherry popped Road still had a bit of salt judging from the tyres, and there were a few damp spots but who cares. Naturally I rode like a novice but it felt so good to be back out on 2 wheels again. Sad to say the standard of driving has deteriorated since last year, nearly took a silly bimbos mirror when she decided to pull out on to a 60mph road with me 100 yards away, and then proceed to only get up to about 40mph. Decided not to collect her unnecessary mirror as too many dashcams these days, instead I rode along by the side of her door as she studiously ignored me and stared ahead intently But who cares, the season is on!
Took mine out today Glad I did and wish I hadn’t Was nice to get back on it but wheel spins and salt I don’t like Then got home and gave it a good wash
Took mine to work twice this week and bike now covered, roads constantly wet, they have been out gritting every night Pete
Went out today, normally would take the blade in winter but thought i’d give the Superduke its first run of the year. Heading home hit a pheasant at 70mph, hit the clutch banjo loose, clutch fluid pissing everywhere, snapped the clutch microswitch clean off and trying to get through rush hr with no clutch Great day and then had to wash a salt plane off it
Glad your ok pheasants can have you off......they were doing a shoot where I went for a pedal today good less to run out in the road.,,,,
