So picked up my wheels today from the powder coaters. Proper pleased with them. Next step to get the back on the bike.
I'm looking forward to how that looks, a few more subtle parts, like red braided lines etc would set it off nicely!
I've already got red braided lines, oil plug, rear foot pegs and tank infills, hoses and sprocket. Had the front discs sprayed last year as well.
Aprilia has done releases of the RSV with red wheels on a predominantly black bike. I think it looks great, and far better than the blue used on the 2005 Factory.
Have to admit my first impression is a bit meh, but it's your bike so it's what you like that counts. May look nice once fited though.
Well that's the thing. It's all about individuality at the end of the day! What one person likes, may not appeal to another! Plus I've always liked black and candy apple red!
personally i think think the discs clash with the wheels and too much on the bottom of the tank but as long as you like it it doesn't matter what anyone else says. i think @nigelrb will have heart failure when he see's its dirty lol
Nah, only if it were mine. It's a nice individually styled bike. I don't mind that at all. I'm sure the detailing will happen later.
