I bought an HJC lid recently; about two weeks later I realised it did not have the Gold motorsport sticker on the back!? Sportsbikeshop to the rescue...I contacted them and after having to send pictures of the helmet they got Oxford to send me the sticker. Never had that before (lid with no gold sticker).
Yeah they're normally on there.....if it's ACU approved of course. Glad they sorted it for you, will you be doing any track days as that's the only issue that could possibly arise? Not that they check it
That’s why I noticed it wasn’t there, I was reading pre-requisites on No Limits website. Hoping to get to Brands Hatch this year for the GP circuit.
Really like that helmet, fancy getting one myself - how do u find it for comfort and wind noise? Cheers Lee
What size did you opt for @hitch ? I am an XL in the RPHA 10 plus, so when decided to upgrade to an RPHA 11 I just ordered an XL presuming it would be the same size! How wrong I was......it was way to small when it arrived! After reading on the internet I found out that the RPHA 11 does come up slightly smaller than the old lids. Didn't do my research did i Gutted as I'm a big fan of HJC quality but will still be wearing my other two, the X spirit 3 is for summer use only
I got size XL; I found it a nice snug fit. My ARAI is now well worn in and after switching to the HJC it felt nice and snug but not overly tight. I did read your post about sending it back and got a bit worried but it must be that you simply have a bigger head than me! ...which is weird because I can see and have been told I have a big old noggin
Yep. So if I were at a track day and the organiser were to casually glance at the lid and not it has no BMS gold sticker on it they could turf me out ...I mean, it's probably unlikely given that most HJC lids sold now over here have to meet the BS and the BMS approval? but you never know how arsey some people might be! Then again to play devils advocate on myself it could be a cheap Chinese copy for all anyone else knows!
Same here - XL a bit too tight, so ordered the XXL liner that costs about £30 - all better now Picture of mine below - some reason the picture went all "arty" when I took it !
