there are certain things, I don't take risks on when riding: brrake, tyres & chain no matter how cheap unless I ride a 30mph town bike
I have a video one side cheap chines other side ASV The movement in chinese is incredible to a point of not feeling right Would never buy cheap, sooner do second hand ASV
I purchased some “lesser” recommended chinese levers for my 07 blade, within 45 minutes they were off and scrapped as exactly as that video states my front brake was binding on! Not locking up but gradually getting worse to the point I had to stop and remove it immediately! Rode home on the back brake, put the OEM levers back on with no issues at all. Got myself some stubby ASVs and love them to bits, superb build quality and mega adjustable.
Well that *could* have been user error....I had the same thing when I fitted my ASV levers, it was down to not lining up the 'nipply' thing to the master cylinder receptacle bit ...sorry if that's too technical! (LOL)
Hitch your boggling my mind with all this tech jargon no wasn’t user error, I replaced the OEM ones and fitted the ASVs with no issues at all I like to make sure everything is lined up. One slip and your in the shit, or is that something I’m thinking about? haha
Lol, just me then. I'd only got literally to the top of my road and the front brakes were locked on solid ...luckily my daughter was at home to run me up a screwdriver. I couldn't even push it home...lol.
Not again, another debate about Chinese levers. The video and much, much more has been posted already long time ago and there are tons of opinions and facts were posted in the forum already.
Blo0dy hell....you wouldnt want to be wearing that red one when the guy with the iron bar goes crazy.
