Saw that. I'd rather buy a whole bike for six grand!

Think I would find that hard to pass as any bike for 6k will only be average, nothing special

Yep average, but in the best colours! Sorry mate but I’m in a bespoke industry so something like that swingarm to me is a work of art

No doubt it's a work of art, but weighing up it's value to the average joe blogs street rider/trackday enthusiast it's simply a waste of money.
If, on the other hand you are able to wring 95% out of the blade and are a pro or semi pro racer and are looking for those chassis improvements to eek out the last few % then I guess it's worth the investment?

Or you're just a rich flash bast**d then get it :D

I need one for better clearance on the exhaust I'm using. I say need, it would be nice to have more than 3 or 4mm between can and swing arm but it's never going to make contact.

Agree, and I'm sure it is functional. But how is the cost justified? Is all the R & D incorporated into the price of what must be a very limited run? I assume the whole shebang is hand made also.

I'm with @nigelrb on this one. I would rather spend that sort of money on a complete bike. Well... If the wife allows it... :D

The cost is ridiculous mate and wouldn’t of been a consideration to the race team who commissioned them. In the add it even says it’s not a straight swap and needs other parts to fit a standard bike so making it even more ridiculous
I just like the workman ship of it and totally understand the way it’s costed due to being hand made as it’s exactly the same at my work

The retail cost for these Suter swingarms is about $18,000 all told and they do need mods to the receiving frame to accept the pivot offset inserts etc.

I might pick up that swing arm to use on my Superbike build if the price drops some.
I have the frame it goes along with.
Switching to that swinger requires a new shock and one needs to be sure the upper shock tower is included and at the moment I think it is not included in the price.
Also requires a custom swing arm pivot bolt.
I would also want it to be checked for hidden stress damage as it is coming off a rather hard season and the CNC swing arms are prone to crack under pressure :)

    Which one is that?

So if Jacobsons honda was for sale a few weeks ago and there's a pic of the complete rear section, how come this is for sale?
Yes I know they have a few spares kicking around, but is this thing legit!?

Plus I love the section of what people bought together... Screenshot_20190317-075652.jpg

Why would you put that swingarm on a moped, lol.
