Lozzy's bike is very nice. Sometimes having an overstated bike that is as recognizable as the Repsol is a curse. Say you're being a bit of a hooligan with your mates and the cops see you all. He's going to remember the Repsol.
. . . and if has difficulty recognising a Repsol, he'll certainly won't have the same problem with your number plate!!
I had a Repsol before the black one and I loved its paint scheme. I'd swap the new one for yours in a heartbeat ( just in case you fancy a quick part ex )
Gee, I'm spanking myself after seeing how shiny @Lozzy 's bike is. Honorary membership to the @hitch and @nigelrb Clean Club.
2015 SP With family, business and life I'd not used my 2005 Blade much in the past 18 months, so thought I'd swap the two bikes I had for a BMW K1300s HP edition, but after 6 weeks I missed my Blade, a lot, so got another. I was silly to have gotten rid of my original one.
Maybe, but you've certainly won with that one!! Is it the genuine factory Marquez Special or one of the replicas specially painted? I'm very naive on 2012 -16s.
I see it's got the HRC decals...unfortunately the Repsol paint negates the speed improvement Nice bike all the same...and welcome back to the Fireblade family
Ha! It wasn't too bad to be honest, suprised how well they all slot together when you start taking it apart. Also quite surprising how filthy it gets behind them, gave me a chance to clean it thoroughly
And THAT is the key difference between OEMs and Chinese. A lot less flex in Chinese. The front tabs of belly pan is an extremely nervous 15 minutes! Oem's are about three minutes - less with experience!
Picked this up a couple of weeks ago, but no chance of getting out due to the weather or work. Pillion pegs already off and tailtidy on order.
