Thinking of getting Hutchy to sign my cowl so need to get a marker pen in dull silver or similar. I've looked online but info a bit vague on which brand will be best. I'll clean the cowl of any surface polish etc beforehand but has anyone used a permanent marker for plastics that they can recommend please? It'll have to be available from a shop rather than online as need it for tomorrow. And yes no doubt some will think it'll look gash or ruin the cowl...but I don't care it'll be a little bit of the lovely Hutchy keeping an eye on my riding bum
Loz, phone Dream Machine and speak to Kevin (0115 973 6615). You can drop my name if you like - he has my NS at the moment. He explained the tech stuff to me. Some markers are heavily solvent based so if you chose to lacquer over or put Gorilla Shield on, the marker would dissolve. That IS your best course.
Yep...I've just spoke to them and Hutchys there from about 10 to 1230ish, the others are mostly there all day
Good call on getting the seat cowl signed, might take a ride up there myself and get mine signed too, if you find out about safe markers to use give me a shout, at the mo it'll be a black sharpie for mine. I take it your local to there then?

Haha I got lost in Mansfield couple of years ago on the bike and couldn't spot anyone who looked normal to ask how the hell to get out of the circle I seemed to be going round in....eventually spotted a police traffic car who kindly said Follow us love and got me to an escape route lol Just rang Dream Machine and Kev isn't at work so no joy there...
Sounds like you need one of them metallic ones you pump the end of to get the stuff to come out of the end!!! Sharpie would be best but not sure you can get them in silver What ever you end up getting, bring it out on the next meet up and I'll sign your tank if you want?
Just found this in the drawer at home.....it's gold but you can get them in silver I've been informed! Plus it's not one of those ones you need to pump the end of to make the stuff come out of the end ......although you may if enjoyed that
Yeah but unless you lacquer it over I think it'll wear off in time what ever you use! Just get him to sign your tits and get it tattooed over!! Nowt more permanent than that!
